Our Social Prescribing team are responsible for the running of several community support groups in North Somerset

Wellbeing Lifestyle Club

A free workshop to promote self-care and positive lifestyle changes to improve the community wellbeing.

Address: Yatton Methodist Hall, 89 High St, Yatton, Bristol BS49 4DW

Time: 10am-12pm

Workshops are held every third Thursday of the month.

STAR Bereavement Peer Support Group

A free group for adults of any age who are experiencing loss. The aim of the group is to provide a safe place for people to receive support, be listened to and to hear other who have also experienced loss in their life.

Group 1

Location: The Activities Room, Darlisette House, Sandford Station, Retirement Village, BS25 5AA

Time: 2pm-4pm

This group meets every Third Tuesday of the month.

North Somerset Health Walks by Better Health

Better Health are there for your Health and Wellbeing as a public health service funded by the council for North Somerset residents.

The Health Walks scheme welcomes over 300 regular walkers a week in and around North Somerset. They have Health Walks in Clevedon, Nailsea, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Winscombe, Long Ashton and Yatton.

Their walks are led by volunteers who welcome you to join their groups. They have all attended Health Walk Leader training to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for all.
